I'm Kiralee.
When I was 17 years old, I fell in love with my best friend. We were just juniors in high school. He went to a different school so we didn’t get to see each other every day but we would spend most of our nights on the phone talking into the wee hours of the next morning about anything and everything. I was late to yearbook almost every day of my senior year due to the lack of sleep! (sorry Mr. Burnham)
Fast forward two decades and here we are living out our dreams! We have two perfect little girls and have just finished building our first home.
If there’s one thing I have realized over the last decade that I have been so lucky to be a photographer, it’s that I love romance, pretty details, and elegantly styled wedding days… but most importantly, I love the story.
It’s been an honor to capture the beginning, middle and end of that story for so many amazing couples and families over the years, and I am so excited about the possibility of being a part of your own love story.

Tacos
All you need is love and tacos.
Seriously, though, I could eat them every day and if you serve tacos at your wedding, consider me a bestie for life.

There's something so happy about champagne and mimosas usually mean brunch, which means sleeping in but still getting to have breakfast food with your girlfriends and it just doesn't get any better than that.

I have always loved this breed and my sweet husband made my dreams a reality in 2019 when we brought home our Bailey girl. Denali joined our family in 2024 and we plan to bring more Berner babies into the world this winter when we breed her!

The office
In 2017, I spent an entire wedding season with my amazing friend Amy Downey. She would quote The Office at every wedding and then follow it up with her infectious giggle so by September of that year, I had finally started watching it and to say I was hooked is an understatement. I have watched the entire series at least 6 times and I don't think I will ever get tired of it!

Fall
Being born in November, I have always been a sucker for fall. Most people hate when it rains, and they get depressed when it's cloudy but I think I am the opposite. I come alive when it's raining and clouds that sit on the mountains make me feel giddy. I am also in LOVE with fall fashion. Give me hunter boots, scarves and sweaters all year.

Coffee
I have been a coffee drinker since I was a sophomore in high school. I grew up with that intoxicating smell from the moment I opened my eyes and I always have the fond memory of a church filled with the scent of coffee. It always meant "togetherness" for me and it gives me that sense of security and that cozy feeling.

Christmas Time
Christmas is that nostalgic time of year when the troubles of the world melt away and nothing else matters except being together. We honestly designed our home around this time of year. The big tall ceilings and the wall of windows, plus the kids are upstairs and we wanted a loft, just for that "wake up Christmas morning and peek down to see the presents" moment.

Cows
Growing up in eastern Montana, I have always had an infatuation with cows. I think they are the most adorable animal but I also get nostalgic when I smell hay because it makes me think of my childhood. My kids have caught on to my crazy love for them and when we go on road trips they always point out all the "happy cows".

Boudoir Photography
Aside from Weddings and Families, my other love is Boudoir. I started doing this type of photography back in 2013 and it has slowly stolen my heart. we met at work and when i first saw him i thought he was the cutest boy i'd ever seen. i remember thinking i wanted to marry him before i even knew him. he played hard to get and has made me work.. really hard for what i want in all aspects of my life, ever since. he is the hardest working human i know and i am beyond grateful for him. I couldn't imagine doing life without him.

from the moment we named her, i have been calling her mil. she goes by millie, bean, stinker or just her beautiful name: amelia. she is a spunky little thing with a giant heart that she wears on her sleeve. she's so funny and has the most amazing imagination. she made us a family and for that, i will always have such a special place in my heart for her.

oh, gemma. She was our surprise baby. we always thought we would only have one, but amelia begged us for a sister. we tried for a good 3 years for gem and it wasn't until we gave up that we were blessed with her arrival. she keeps us on our toes, this one. she has the most hilarious facial expressions and we can already tell that she won't be one of those kids who takes nonsense from anyone. we love her so much and can't remember what life was like without her in it!

Then came Bailey. She has been the most amazing dog our family could have ever asked for. She's the sweetest, silliest, most loving dog we have ever owned. She protects our family from the NW Montana wildlife that frequents our backyard. She's lovingly been dubbed "Nana" because she watched over the babies like they are her own. She's stubborn and quirky and she knows what she wants. She's a member of our family and we are so lucky to have her!

I quit my full time job and gave birth to my oldest, Amelia. She inspired me follow my photography dreams
2014
I won the cover contest for the My Montana Wedding Magazine. This was also the year I finally purchased my first full frame camera!
2020
moved in to our very own home after renting a tiny trailer for almost 10 years and then living the camper life for 6 months during construction!
I shot my first wedding with Morgan by my side!
2007
photographed my first "boudoir party" and fell head over heels in love with boudoir photography!
2013
gave birth to my second daughter, Gemma! I photographed 21 weddings that summer and won Best of the Flathead for the first time!

Kiralee is the one I trust to take our photos. She has done 12+ sessions for our family. Each and every session has so many photos I will cherish for the rest of my life. Kiralee is not just behind a camera and pushes a button. She helps you coordinate outfits if you can’t quite figure out what goes well. She will help you think of the perfect location. She will make you laugh. A lot. She cares about your session probably more than you do. She wants you to have fun and love your pictures! Trust me, Kiralee always gets the photo. I have 2 kids who can be quite difficult to take photos of BUT Kiralee ALWAYS gets AMAZING photos. Not just a good family photo but a good photo of each kid, a good photo of the kids together, a good photo of me with the kids and a good photo of my husband with the kids. (Let’s face it, that last photo is probably the most challenging one for most families. Kiralee gets the shot. Every session we have with her!) Kiralee is our photographer and I honestly can’t wait for all the future sessions we don’t even scheduled yet.

We drove from Seattle to have Kiralee photograph our daughters one year pictures, and her cake smash session this month. Even though our daughter was recovering from a sickness, she was able to capture the most amazing pictures and make the session light and fun. Upon receiving the images, they immediately brought tears to my eyes on the way she was able to capture all of her personality in each image. There aren’t enough words to explain how amazing it was to work with her, I only wish she was based in Seattle. We definitely will be taking more trips for future sessions.
